The Epiphone Masterbilt Frontier is presents a recreation of the rare '60s era guitar. With its square shoulders, all-solid build and striking pickguard, it's a real standout guitar within the Epiphone range.
Featuring an all-solid construction, with maple for the back and sides and sitka spruce for the top, the Masterbilt Frontier is a wonderful guitar, that delivers plenty of projection and will only only get better with age! Not only does it sound great but with its Aged Gloss finish and iconic “Rope and Cactus” pickguard, it really delivers in the looks front too.
The body is married to a mahogany neck shaped into a comfortable C profile. Topping the neck is a Indian laurel fingerboard with a 12" radius and set with 20 medium jumbo frets and Pearloid "Split Block" Rectangles inlays.
The guitar is fitted with Fishman electronics. A Fishman Sonicore under saddle pickup is paired with Fishmam Sonitone preamp with soundhole mounted volume and tone controls.
Other appointments include a GraphTech NuBone nute and 3-a-side tuners with gold keystone buttons.
