The Gibson J45 50s Faded delivers the world famous Gibson acoustic with a beautiful faded finish.
The Gibson J45 is a true legend of the acoustic guitar world. First introduced in 1942, the J-45 has become one of the most iconic models within the Gibson range, and has been used by many legendary musicians since its introduction.
The Gibson J-45 50s Faded features an all-solid wood construction, with solid mahogany back and sides topped with a solid sitka spruce top. Its sloped shouldered dreadnought shaped body is finished in a classy Faded Sunburst colour, complete with Nitrocellulose lacquer.
Paired to the body via a compound dovetail neck to body join, is a mahogany neck, carved into a rounded neck profile. Topping the neck is a rosewood fingerboard set with 20 standard frets and Mother of Pearl dot inlays.
The guitar comes complete with the LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup/preamp system, complete with easy access soundhole controls for volume and tone - perfect ready for the stage!
Other appointments include Gotoh white button tuners, a fat 50's style pickguard and a GraphTech TUSQ nut.
The guitar comes complete with a Gibson Hardshell case.
