The Fender American Vintage II 1960 Precision Bass presents an accurate take on the classic bass. It features a period correct body, neck, and hardware, and hosts a meticulously voiced, split-coil pickup to capture the essence of an iconic model in Fender's history.
From the late '50s to the early 60s, the P Bass made some transitions that would become now synonymous with the legend we know and love. This 1960 reissue follows that year specific model with its alder body finished with a Gloss Nitrocellulose lacquer, pickup mounted controls, comfort contours and a Strat style headstock, The substantial "C" shaped hard rock maple neck comes topped with a 7.25" radius slab rosewood fingerboard set with 20 frets and clay dot inlays.
The bass comes loaded with Pure Vintage '60 split- coil pickup wired through traditional master volume and tone controls, giving access to plenty of classic thump and vintage Fender bass tone.
Other appointments include a Pure Vintage 4-saddle bridge with threaded steel saddles, reverse open-gear tuners, and a finger rest.
