The Vintera II 70s Mustang Competition Bass features the iconic downsized Mustang body paired with a 30" short scale neck. The neck is constructed of maple, carved into a highly playable early-70s C shaped profile. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25" radius and set with 20 vintage-tall style frets and dot inlays.
Fender have equipped the bass with a vintage style, 70s split-coil Mustang Bass pickup, giving you instant access to those classic punchy, woody bass tones. The pickup is wired through a simple master volume and master tone control, which is all you need to get the best of out this classic little bass.
Other appointments include the eye-catching pearloid pickguard, a rock solid, vintage style 4-Saddle Mustang Bass bridge, and vintage style open back tuners.
