Here is the Gibson SG Bass, an iconic instrument with legendary looks and tone. A true classic!
The Gibson SG Bass makes up part of Gibson's current bass range and rightly so, as the SG Bass has some serious history. Famous users include legendary bass players, Jack Bruce (Cream), and Andy Fraser (Free), who both put the SG bass on the map, in that classic 60s era British blues boom.
Its classic double cutaway design is truly iconic, and makes for an instantly recognisable bass. The body is constructed with solid mahogany and then paired with a rounded profile short scale (30.5") mahogany neck for that classic SG Bass feel. The rosewood fingerboard hosts 20 medium jumbo frets and Acrylic Trapezoid inlays.
Loaded with a pair of SG Bass pickups (Lead and Rhythm), wired through individual volumes and a master control, you have instant access to those classic SG Bass tones, thick, warm, and with plenty of punch.
Other features include the Grover Shamrock tuners, a 3-point adjustable bridge and an included hard case.
