The Fender American Vintage II 1973 Stratocaster presents an accurate take on the classic '73 year guitar. It features a period correct body, neck, and hardware, and hosts meticulously voiced, year-specific pickups to capture the essence of an iconic model in Fender's history.
This '73 year specific reissue features an Ash body finished with Gloss Polyurethane Lacquer, capturing the tone, look and feel of the original. Married to the body is a comfortable 1973 "C" shaped maple neck with a 7.25" radius maple fingerboard set with 21 frets and black dot inlays.
The guitar comes loaded with a set of Pure Vintage '73 Stratocaster pickups with staggered pole pieces are wired through traditional master volume, tone 1 and tone 2 controls, and a 5-way pickup selector, giving you access to those much loved 70s Strat tones, full of authentic Fender vintage tone.
Other appointments include a a large headstock with dual string trees, a convenient “Bullet” style truss rod nut and a three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt™ mechanism
