The Fender American Vintage II 1977 Telecaster Custom presents an accurate take on the classic late 70's Tele with a twist. It features a period correct body, neck, and hardware, and hosts meticulously voiced, pickups to capture the essence of the iconic model in Fender's history.
True to its roots, this reissue 1977 Tele Custom model has an alder body with a contoured belly cut, and set with a large 3-ply pickguard. Married to the body is a comfortable 1977 "C" shaped maple neck with a 7.25" radius fingerboard set with 21 frets and black dot inlays. A large Strat style headstock also features.
The guitar comes loaded with an authentic CuNiFe Wide-Range humbucker at the neck paired with a Pure Vintage '77 Single Coil Tele pickup in the bridge position. Fender resurrected CuNiFe magnets, which had been out of production since 1981, an essential element in recreating the sonics of the original. The pickups are wired through master volume and tone controls for each pickup, giving access to a variety of tones.
Other appointments include a Tele bridge with 6 slotted steel barrel saddles, F stamped tuners, and a Bullet Style truss rod
The guitar comes complete vintage style black hard case with orange interior.
