The Vintera II 70s Jaguar utilizes that standout off-set design, with a body carved from alder and complete with a gloss finish. Married to the body is a maple neck that features a late 70s C shaped profile topped with a period correct 7.25" radius fingerboard that hosts 22 vintage-tall style frets and inlaid with block position markers. The shorter 24" scales also give the guitar a unique feel.
Fender have loaded the Vintera II 70s Jaguar with a pair of vintage style, early 70s Jaguar pickups, designed to be more 70s accurate, with a classic tone full of articulation. It features a dual-circuit setup, designed to allow both rhythm and lead style configurations of pickup blend and volume. The pickups can be switched on an off independently and topped off with a master 'kill' switch, the circuitry offers a vast scope for tonal versatility and interesting effects that can be achieved..
In keeping with its classic design, the guitar hosts a vintage style floating tremolo tailpiece, a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, vintage style machine heads and a 4-bolt neck plate.
