The playing experience of a smaller sized archtops is extremely pleasant thanks to arched a solid spruce top with traditional Longitudinal Bracing, a Mahogany body and classic f-holes. Even the tiny details such as recreating the 1930s era replica Epiphone label inside the F-holes has not been missed out by the Epiphone craftsmen.
In terms of playability the Olympic replicates and improves on the originals. Featuring is a mahogany made neck in a rounded “C” shape profile, this is then glued to the body with a string dovetail joint for that perfect fit and optimum resonate. The fretboard is very forgiving to, Epiphone have opted for rosewood board with 20 medium frets, a 25.5” scale length and pearloid "Dot” inlays for ease of navigation as well as that vintage look and playability.
