Faith Blood Moon

With highly figured all solid ‘AAA’ grade Trembesi construction and Patrick James Eggle design, it's no surprise that this range claimed the crown of 'Best Acoustic Guitar 2016' with the popular 'Venus' model.

Stunning in both their appearance and sound, the Faith Blood Moon Series guitars are one of Faith's premium instrument lines that they are extremely passionate about. The are three model available that consist of a single acoustic, the Saturn, and two electro-cutaway guitars with built in Shadow Nanoflex electronics called the Venus and the Neptune.

The key to the 'Blood Moon' recipe is that they all sport solid, highly figured ‘AAA’ grade Trembesi for whole body construction and are decorated with beautiful flamed Maple binding. These guitars also get the Patrick James Eggle quarter-sawn X-Brace Design treatment which gives them a significant tonal advantage.

So what is Trembesi? Trembesi is an indigenous timber native to Indonesia and, up until recently, has primarily been a favourite of furniture makers, however Faith have experimented and tested this exact wood for many years and found that it posseses excellent tonal attributes.

In terms of sound Trembesi is not dissimilar to Hawaiian Koa and as a result will sonically respond like a Mahogany instrument with that natural warmth, but remains nicely balanced across the frequency spectrum reacting more like traditional Rosewood at the top end.

Each of the models in the range also benefit from a host of high performance, high quality parts such as gold Grover Rotomatic tuners and a TUSC nut, along with a Macassan Figured Ebony bridge, bridge pins and fingerboard. These carefully picked additions are what come together to make these stunning instruments sound and perform as good as they look.

All models come with a deluxe Faith hardcase too!
