The Fender Classic Series 70's Stratocaster captures the essence and styling of the vintage 1970's spec Strat with it's Natural finish and Pau Ferro fingerboard.
Firstly this Classic Series edition features an Ash body sculpted to the iconic, double cutaway Strat shape which is then attached to an old school 'U' shape Maple neck. Not only does this make the guitar extra lightweight and comfortable during long hours of playing, but it offers a brighter tonal quality that is nicely complimented by the dark Pau Ferro fingerboard.
The distinctive large headstock oozes retro charm whilst the 3 bolt micro tilt neck plate and vintage style frets again match the classic spec of the famous 70s era design.
Three vintage voiced single coil pickups are also in place to deliver the classic Stratocaster tonal range that has secured its place, not only in the rock and roll hall of fame, but in the collections of many pro players across endless genres down the years.
Combined with the unique Ash and Maple tonewoods the natural sound produced by this Strat is more than enough to slice straight through the mix both live and in the studio, all whilst retaining that siganture warmth that Strat lovers crave.
