Using the same design aspects as the classic Music Man StingRay bass, the Sterling by Musicman Stringray Ray34 Bass Guitar pays respect to its 'bass brother' delivering those iconic looks and 'that' legendary tone.
The Stingray Ray34 basses starts with a resonant body that is attached to a highly playable 34" scale roasted maple neck via a sturdy 6 bolt design. The fast neck is topped with a fingerboard that hosts 21 frets and dot inlays.
That legendary Stingray tone is delivered via way of the classic combination of a high output humbucking pickup (with 2 rows of large alnico pole pieces) and the versatile active 3-band EQ section (bass, middle and treble). Whether you want that in your face aggressive tone, to classic slap tones to something a bit mellower and warmer the Sterling Ray34 delivers.
Other features include the iconic 'teardrop' shaped scratchplate, heavy duty, Music Man bridge and saddles and headstock/machines 3-1 layout.
The Sterling by Musicman Stingray Ray34 gives you access to that classic StingRay look and legendary tone - as used by players like Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Pino Palladino and Bernard Edwards (Chic) - at a price that won't break the bank.
