The HEV1 electric violin by Hidersine is a great choice for students looking to practice, record or interface with software without the volume of an acoustic instrument.
Plugging the HEV1 into an amplifier gives a huge range of possibilities. Not only does your electric violin now sound like an acoustic instrument, but you now have the ability to plug into a tablet or computer to record, practice or interface with software to add effects.
The HEV1's top is made from Spruce whilst maple is used for the back and sides. The fingerboard, pegs and chinrest are all made of genuine ebony.
A piezo pickup is located under the bridge, designed to capture every subtlety of your playing. On the side of the instrument is a 1/4" jack output for use with most amps, whilst a 3.5mm mini jack allows for easy use with headphones. The onboard preamp gives you controls for volume, bass and treble.
Supplied as an outfit, the Hidersine HEV1 comes complete with a good quality bow and protective carry-case.
