This special 25th Anniversary Edition plays true its roots, with its 400-watt high headroom power stage allowing for plenty of ABM punch and clout with the classic VU meter and blue front panel.
Central to the amp is a 7-band EQ section, combining rotary knobs for Bass, Middle and Treble with finer adjustments available on sliders. To the left of the EQ section is the master input control, passive/active switch. flat/shape EQ and the variable Valve Drive control giving access to a range of core tones from clean and punchy to warm and grinding. To the right of the EQ is the Sub Harmonic control for access to added lows, blendable via the rotary knob. A handy front loaded D.I output, mute switch, tuner and line out also feature.
The rear of the unit hosts a FX send and return, a pair of Speakon speaker outputs and ABM's low noise twin fans.
