In some cases, you can use a single footswitch to trigger different functions with a press, hold, or double-click. In addition, handy top level screen function gives you real time feedback on a variety of current operations.
The RC-600 comes loaded with a range of effects to keep your looping performances engaging and exciting, with 49 Input FX and 53 Track FX - great for processing sounds before or after capture. Effects include options from the vast BOSS library, a guitar-to-bass simulator and large range of vocal FX. The track FX section gives you access to DJ style effects like Beat Scatter, Vinyl Flick and more - great for live tweaks. Up to 4 Input FX and Track FX can be used at once and you can store banks of four in each section for quick recall, along with toggle or momentary button settings for each type.
BOSS have loaded the RC-600 with over 200 rhythms with dynamic real-time functionality and 16 drumkits. Styles include Rock, Jazz, Electronica, Latin and more - each with 4 varations to keep things interesting.
New creative options have also been included, with 3 different overdub modes and a new Bounce In function to capture multi tracks into one. Half speed and double speed are on hand allowing you to adjust the overall playback speed, with or without changing pitch. Undo/redo has also been enhanced with Mark Back, which lets you instantly jump back to a previous loop state that you’ve flagged.
As you'd expect, the RC-600 has a versatile range of connectivity ready for any performance setup. There two XLR mic inputs plus two mono/stereo input pairs for guitars, keyboards, drum machines, and various audio devices, along with an input mixer with two mic compressors and dedicated channel EQs.
