Controls are simple with Gain, Tone and Volume, with the option to power the pedal via a 9v battery of optional power supply. Its rugged, authentic mild steel chassis, helps maintains its classic charm and looks!

This is the second one I ordered. The first one was from another retailer and lacked the potentiometer labels. They couldn't provide a replacement to so I ordered from GigGear instead, and was actually cheaper! The pedal is what you will expect from this classic. I don't have the original to compare but the sound is right there. It is build like a tank, however I would have preferred a less flimsy looking battery cover, hence the 4 starts.
A huge chunk of a pedal that inspired many other pedals. Sturdily built (tank like obviously). Sounds great. Works well as end of gain-chain stacking other drives into it - sounds great on it's own as an always on subtle push...
