The Gibson J45 Standard is a true legend of the acoustic guitar world. First introduced in 1942, the classic Gibson J-45 is one of the most iconic models within the Gibson range, and has been used by many legendary musicians since its introduction.
The Gibson J-45 Standard features an all-solid wood construction, with solid mahogany back and sides topped with a solid sitka spruce top. Its sloped shouldered dreadnought shaped body is finished in the classic Vintage Sunburst colour, complete with Nitrocellulose lacquer.
Paired to the body via a compound dovetail neck to body join, is a mahogany neck, carved into Gibson's SlimTaper neck profile. Topping the neck is a rosewood fingerboard set with 20 standard frets and Mother of Pearl dot inlays.
The guitar comes complete with the LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup/preamp system, complete with easy access soundhole controls for volume and tone - perfect ready for the stage!
Other appointments include Grover Rotomatic tuners, a traditional Tear Drop pickguard and a GraphTech TUSQ nut.
