Part of the Inspired by Gibson collection, this left handed Epiphone Les Paul Custom is the latest incarnation of the classic guitar that pays homage to the original "tuxedo" version originally designed back in in 1954 by Mr Les Paul..
The Epiphone Les Paul Custom utilizes many of the classic Les Paul build qualities, starting with a single cutaway mahogany body, with a gloss finish, that is set off by the binding on the front (5-ply) and back (1-ply). Married to body, via a glued in neck joint, is a Slimtaper profiled mahogany neck that is topped with a bound 12" radius ebony fingerboard set with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid block inlays. The Custom touch is also accented at the headstock with a split diamond inlay.
Epiphone have loaded with Les Paul Custom with a pair of humbuckers; a ProBucker 2 in the neck position paired with a ProBucker 3 at the bridge. Wired through the traditional 3-way pickup selector switch and 4 control section, with volume and tone controls for each pickups, you have access to those classic Les Paul tones, from thick warm clean sounds to crunch chords to singing leads.
Other appointments include a LockTone ABR bridge and Stopbar tailpiece, Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners and black speed knobs.
