The Fender American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster presents an accurate take on the classic Strat model. It features a period correct body, neck, and hardware, and hosts meticulously voiced, year-specific pickups to capture the essence of the iconic model in Fender's history.
On its original launch the Fender Stratocaster was a phenomenon, and by 1957 the Strat had developed into a mid-century masterpiece.
This year specific reissue features an Alder (Vintage Sunburst/Sea Foam Green) or Ash (White Blonde) body finished with a Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer, capturing the tone, look and feel of the original. Married to the body is a comfortable "V" shaped maple neck with a 7.25" radius fingerboard set with 21 frets and black dot inlays.
The guitar comes loaded with a set of Pure Vintage '57 Stratocaster pickups wired through traditional master volume, tone 1 and tone 2 controls, and a 5-way pickup selector, giving you access to those much loved Strat tones, full authentic Fender vintage tone.
Other appointments include a a vintage-accurate synchronized tremolo with cold rolled steel block and bent steel saddles, single-line “Fender Deluxe” tuners and a single-ply pickguard.
The guitar comes complete vintage style Tweed hard case with crushed red interior.
