In 1969, with the opening riff to "Good Times Bad Times" an English guitarist cemented his legacy and changed rock music...all with a single guitar, the Fender Telecaster. This Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster pays tribute to that guitar, which was hand painted by the man himself, with its colourful "Dragon" design on a stripped back ash body.
The Jimmy Page Tele features a two-piece ash body, that famous painted design (finished with a satin lacquer finish) and comes complete with a custom pickguard - fans of Page and classic Rock guitars will instantly recognise its look. The body is married to a custom "oval C" shaped maple neck which is topped with a 7.25" radius slab rosewood fingerboard, set with 21 vintage style frets and dot inlays.
Pickups come in the form of a pair of Fender Jimmy Page Custom Tele single-coil pickups. They deliver a full-bodied tone, inspired the unforgettable licks on Led Zeppelin’s first album.
The featured Top Loader bridge is a welcome addition, allowing for both top-load stringing and through-body, which produces a warmer tone with less string tension, great for those that like to string bend. Other appointments include a bone nut, vintage style tuners and a disc string tree for some authentic styling.
Fender created this model alongside Page himself and also boasts some personalised touches including his signature on the headstock and the custom chrome neck plate, an included red coiled cable and a vintage-style stained glass strap.
