The Fender Player Jaguar gives players access to one of Fender's legendary alternative guitars. It delivers a retro inspired design with a welcome selection of modern appointments.
What sets the Jaguar apart from Fender's other iconic models is of course it unique, off-set body design. The Fender Player Jaguar utilizes that standout silhouette, with its body carved from alder and then finished in Gloss Polyester. In keeping with the Player Series guitars, the Player Jag pairs the body with a maple neck, shaped into a comfortable Modern "C" shaped profile, and tops it with a 9.5" radius fingerboard set dot inlays.
Fender have treated the Player Jaguar with a pair of Player Series pickups, placing a humbucker at the bridge with a single coil in the neck position. The pickups are wired through a 3-way pickup selector and a master volume and tone control. Added tonal versatility comes courtesy of the coil split on the humbucker via a push/pull pot.
Other appointments include the vintage style tremolo tailpiece, with a push-in style trem arm, a 50s style spaghetti logo on the headstock and skirted amp knobs.
The Fender Player Jaguar gives players access to one of Fender's most popular alternative guitars, delivering retro charm and modern playability without breaking the bank.
