The Gretsch G2420 Streamliner guitar instantly delivers vintage class and character whilst also producing superb tone and playability thanks to a selection of player-friendly appointments and newly designed pickups. Get that Gretsch look and sound without breaking the bank!
The secret to the Streamliner’s sound is a new offering from Gretsch - the Broad’Tron BT-2S humbuckers. Gretsch have specially designed the high output Broad’Tron BT-2S pickups for the Streamliner collection and have been designed to produce a tighter low end, crisp highs and a throaty midrange that will blend well in any band environment, from the studio to the stage.
The G2420 features that classic Gretsch hollow body design, complete with F holes. A highly playable 12" radius fingerboard set with pearloid Hump Back inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets sits atop the bound nato neck which has been carved into a thin U shaped profile - great for chordal work, jazz runs and hot-rodded riffs!
The G2420 comes fitted with a Chromatic II tailpiece, Adjusto-matic bridge (with a secured laurel base) and a synthetic bone nut, allowing for rock solid tuning and stability.
