The Ibanez AF75 is part of Ibanez's hugely poular Artcore line. Combining quality workmanship, attention to detail and affordable prices, these guitars appeal to a wide range of players from all manner of musical backgrounds.
Equally as happy playing smooth jazz as it is delivering crunchy, blues riffs, the AF75 takes the form of a traditional 'big bodied jazzer'. It's fully hollow body helps deliver rich, resonant tones that would be unachievable using a solid, or semi solid, guitar.
Fitted into the 70mm hollow body are a pair of Ibanez Classic Elite humbucking pickups. Coupled with a traditional wiring set up of a three way selector switch and volume/ tone controls for each pickup, the humbuckers deliver a wide range of sounds giving you the fattest jazz neck pickup tone right through to a biting bridge tone for bluesy leads and rhythms.
The mahogany neck features Ibanez's Artcore profile and is capped with a bound walnut fretboard. This is also home to 20 medium frets and is inlaid with acrylic block markers.
Tuning is kept solid by the inclusion of a set of sealed, chrome machineheads and an Gibralter Performer adjustable bridge.
With a feel and sound that would befit a guitar carrying a much higher price tag, the Ibanez Artcore AF75 is an incredibly good value instrument that would suit players from all musical styles.
