The Taylor Baby Taylor Mahogany takes Taylor’s extremely popular ¾ size guitar but puts an ‘exotic’ spin on things.
Like its sibling, the Taylor Baby BT1, the Baby Mahogany features a compact, lightweight ¾ size body and slim neck profile making it perfect for all manner of players and playing styles.
Equally at home in the studio, on stage, in the living room or round the campfire, the Baby Mahogany is an ideal playing companion – its small size belying its impressive sound.
Whilst its stable-mate, the BT1, features a bright, punchy Spruce top, the Baby Mahogany is all about warmth. The combination of Sapele back and sides and a solid Tropical Mahogany top delivers a warm, mellow, earthy tone that still packs loads of volume.
The compact neck is solid Sapele and is fitted with an ebony fretboard which comes fitted with 19 frets. A set of chrome machine-heads top off the guitar and help keep things nicely in tune, whichever tuning you are using.
Finally, to ensure maximum portability, Taylor have include a high quality, rugged gig bag with every Baby Taylor protecting it from everyday knocks and scrapes and allowing it to travel everywhere you decide you want to take it.
