The onboard eSonic preamp and Shadow NanoFlex pickup system is the heart of this guitars excellent amplified tone. The eSonic preamp features a built in tuner with controls for volume, bass, treble, EQ shape, phase and a handy low battery indicator. The NanoFlex pickup is situated under the saddle and unlike a standard piezo this system features active electronics that not only pick up the string vibration but also the top and body vibrations for a greater amplifed tone without the harshness.
