Fender Hot Rod IV Guitar Amps
The popular Fender Hot Rod Series gets a facelift and various new upgrades for 2018!
New for 2018 - the Fender Hot Rod IV Series of amps. This latest incarnation of Fender's Hot Rod Amp Series is sure to be welcomed with open arms by all musicians, giggers and valve amp connoisseurs.
This iteration sees a collection of updates and upgrades to the Hot Rod amp family, including newly refined ashthetics with a subtle facelift.
The core members of this series 15w Fender Blues Jr, 40w Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV and the 60w Fender Hot Rod Deville IV feature the following changes when compared to the specs from the previous Mk III models.
- Modified volume circuit breaks up more gradually, allowing precise gain adjustment
- Updated Celestion A-Type speakers
- Modified preamp circuitry
- Smoother-sounding spring reverb
- Improved control panel texture and graphics
- Ivory pointer knobs
- Steel-reinforced strap handle
- Lightly aged silver grille cloth
The smallest amp in the series, the Fender Pro Jr IV will instead feature a 10” Jensen P10R speaker along with a retro lacquered tweed covering, a vintage-style ‘50s grille cloth, chrome control panel with red jewel light and a traditional leather handle.
From stage to studio, the Fender Hot Rod Series is utilized by more players than any other amp line. With their updated features, legendary Fender tone, and rugged reliability, these 2018 Hot Rod amps have just got even better!
