NEW Ashdown gear for 2012

Ashdown have a host of new products due very soon, the ABM, MAG, Electric Blue, MiBass and AAA Practice amps are all due something new. Three new FX pedals have also been announced.

Ashdown have a host of new products due very soon, the ABM, MAG, Electric Blue, MiBass and AAA Practice amps are all due something tweaked or new.

Two new ABM models have been added to their ever popular pro series and if volume is what is you want then look no further than the new Ashdown ABM1000 and Ashdown ABM2000 heads. Both heads utilize the legendary ABM preamp stage whilst adding a Class D output power section.

The MAG range will now have the EVO III status with all amp models adding the new tube emulated drive control, allowing for extra dirt and grind to be added to your tone. The Ashdown MAG 300 EVO III Head has been rejoined by it's bigger brother the Ashdown MAG 600 EVO III. The combos also recieve the new drive update with the 4x10" model Ashdown MAG C410T 600 EVO III now receiving the 600w output. The range of MAG cabs have also been redesigned to achive a lighter weight.

The MiBass Micro Heads have been given their own dedicated cabs - the Ashdown MiBass MI10 1x10" and Ashdown MiBass MI12 1x12".

The Electric Blue range still comes in the 1x12" and 1x15" combo form but have been tweaked for more output, now classed as the Electric Blue 220.

For those wanting the classic Ashdown tone for practice and small rehearsals then the AAA ranges comes into action. Still holding on to their previous titles the Ashdown After Eight 20, Ashdown Perfect Ten 40 have been given a bigger wattage and also feature the new tube emulated drive whilst the Ashdown Five Fifteen has been improved with the added 'basic' ABM preamp stage.

Three new pedals have been added, with two huge artists receiving signature models. The Ashdown Pino Palladino Dual Octo Octave pedal and Foo Fighters Nate Mendel Stacked Actor Dual Distortion pedal are due to be very popular, whilst those requiring complete tonal shaping and a dedicated DI will welcome the Ashdown 12 Band EQ Pedal.
