Squier Contemporary Series Guitars
New for 2018 is the Squier Contemporary Series, a range of Strats and Teles that get treated to modern appointments, in both look and feel.
The Squier Contemporary Series delivers a range of Strats and Teles that host some modern appointments whilst still maintaining that all important authentic vibe.
There are 4 guitars in the range, with a couple of lefty options too. All models sport some unique appointments and come in a selection of great finishes, including matching headcaps...which is always a winner!
The Strat dominates the range and arrives in 3 incarnations. All models features a slim C shaped neck profile, a modern, player friendly 12" radius fingerboard and matching headcap. The Contemporary Stratocaster HH comes loaded with a pair of high output, ceramic humbucker pickups (with zebra bobbins), whilst the Contemporary Stratocaster HSS Strat, as the name suggests, features two single coil ceramic pickusp (neck and middle) that are complimented by the humbucker at the bridge. Both of these models host a 2-Point synchronized tremolo with block saddles. The third model, the Contemporary Active Strat HH, takes the iconic double cutaway model and loads it with a dual-locking Floyd Rose tremolo and a pair of Squier Active humbuckers, that boast hot outputs for seriously powerful tones!
Completing the line up is the Squier Contemporary Tele HH. As with the Strats, this model also features a comfortable, slim C neck profile with modern 12" fingerboard radius. Set with jumbo frets, the neck is ideal for players that like a fast neck that delivers effortless bends. As for pickups, this model sports a pair of pokey ceramic humbuckers with classic nickel covers, perfect for those crunchy rhythms and soaring leads.
Designed for the modern guitarist in need of progressive features, the Squier Contemporary Series is a welcome addition to the ever popular Squier range.
