The NUX Tape Echo (NDD-7) pedal pays tribute to the iconic Japanese made Space Echo of the mid 70s. Get access to classic tape style delays, a Spring Reverb and more with this superbly featured pedal.
Utlizing Core-Image technology, the NUX Tape Echo manages to capture all of the charm and tonal qualities of the classic Space Echo unit.
The pedal features all the essential controls to coax out and control those legendary tape delay sounds. Added versatility comes via holding the Select knob, giving you additional controls for Saturation, Wow, Flutter Kill Dry and Exp (use a foot switch for self feedback).
NUX have also added an onboard looper to the pedal. Press the ON and TAP footswitches simultaneously to enter SOS mode (looper). The ON footswitch can do REC/PLAY/DUB as phrase looper function. The display will show you current status. During loop playing, you can press ON and TAP footswitch to quit SOS mode, the loop will keep playing. You can change the parameters and re-enter to SOS mode.
If you want more control you can assign MIDI setting via the Editor. Simply connect the pedal via the TRS/MIDI 3.5mm connections for the MIDI I/O functionality.
