Introducing the Fender American Vintage II 1973 Stratocaster Neck.
Fender guitar necks came in a wide variety of thicknesses and shapes throughout the vintage era. Genuine neck profiles from Fender's history are included in the American Vintage II Series. This authentic Fender American Vintage II 1973 Stratocaster guitar neck, which was made at the Fender Corona, California, studio. Equipped with a '73 "C"-shaped profile, a 7.25"-radius round laminated rosewood or maple fingerboard, and 21 vintage-tall frets.
This vintage-style neck is completed with a big headstock from the 1970s and a three-bolt neck design with a Micro-Tilt mechanism.
A gloss polyurethane finish gives the bone nut an antique vibe, and it is pre-slotted with "pilot" string placement grooves to make spacing easier when filing the final string slot. The ideal approach to give your Strat a truly '70s vibe is with this new neck.
Available in Rosewood or Maple.
*Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures
